Wonders never cease..........

If you have faith as small as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to your mountain, "MOVE!" and it WILL move... and NOTHING will be impossible for YOU!
- Matthew 17:20

There is amazing news to share with all of you!! Our sweet Taylor has been MATCHED with a family!! I just got word a couple of days ago--but made sure that it was official before I shared it with all of you!

No--the family is not us--in case you are wondering! I have to say--I felt an amazingly human moment upon hearing the news that he had a family. I felt not joy right away, as I should--but I felt sadness at my loss. You see--I was so SURE that I had been such a huge part of God's plan for this baby boy-that I MUST be meant to be his Mama. I admit that I did grieve a little. But after reflecting on the miracle that after sitting on a list for months--recently (maybe a family that has read this blog!) a family came forward to love him and care for him--the way that he has deserved since he was born.

He WILL be healed--in body and heart. He WILL be loved. He WILL know that someone will stand by him, help him through the medical stuff that he will endure, and the normal stuff that all kids go through. He will be someone's adored SON!

But this I know--I ALSO loved him. I DO love him-and a part of me always will. And that is O.K! I can be a person that hopefully helped him in this lifetime--I did God's work in helping him get to a safe place. I have to understand that we are sometimes only HIS hands-the hands that will be a channel for someone to get where they need to be. Now--that is easier for me to type than it is to do. I get VERY emotionally involved with these kids. I can see myself as a mom to more. That may or may not be my reality--but I do feel such a love for these little souls. I also see their potential--that their lives are worth so much more than the lot that they have been dealt.

I am going to try--a New Year's resolution if you will--to be more of God's hands--and to try and help many-as best as I can. Do you want to join me for the ride?? I think it will be quite fun--the ideas in my head are already brewing!! watch out! :-)

And as for darling little Taylor--the Doctor's are still evaluating him-and deciding the best course of treatment. When more is learned about where his family is in the adoption process-then they will now how/or if they will proceed. SO at this time we are halting fundraising specifically for him--but I will gladly accept donations for Philip Hayden Foundation. This would go towards all of the expenses that they have taking care of their little ones. To read more about it-see my link to the left!

I will keep you informed as to what the plan is for Taylor. And I thank you for the clothing--it is so well needed at PHF--and the kids there-like Taylor- will be so grateful.

Love to all of you--and thank you for praying and loving this dear boy--our prayers have been answered!

What a blessing that a family has come forward to little Taylor. I had a sneaking suspicion that you might be feeling a call to adopting him, and I'm sure it was hard for you to let him go. But this might be God's way of planting a seed in you for another child to come! You're doing amazing things in so many lives and I have a feeling He isn't finished creating your family just yet:) God bless!

There is a blog called 'A Bushel and a Peck' where a family needs help financially to bring their baby home from China. They are good and loving people and deserve help.

Thank you, Amy, for inspiring me (and I am sure, others) through your words. Your family and anyone else you touch with your heart and hands - is very lucky.
